Make Saturdays “Fun-Days”!

In conjunction with David Lea’s “The Buried City” exhibit, the National Museum of Montserrat is pleased to show the Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO) film (Saturdays only).

Come see historical images of Montserrat before and after the volcanic crises, and learn about the science behind the Soufriere Hills Volcanic eruptions. Take a selfie with John Bull, the Masquerader, and Miss Goosie. Tinkle the ivories on our playable piano and shake a Zimbabwean Hosho (rattle). Marvel at pre-historic tools, beads and pottery, and learn about daily life in Montserrat 3000 years ago. Then, head down to Little Bay for a cool drink and a dip in the ocean.
