Ideal for those passionate about history, technology, and traditional instruments, the position involves photographing and cataloguing objects, transcribing audio/visual files, and engaging with museum visitors. The Montserrat National Museum Launches A New Arrow Exhibition

On Thursday, 20 October, the first day of Montserrat’s 2022 Cruise Ship Season, the Montserrat National Museum launched a new Exhibition called: ‘Take The Shackles Off My Feet So I Can Dance – The Journey From Equiano to the Mighty Arrow’. 

The Montserrat National Trust Conducts Biodiversity and Ecosystem Survey

Public consultation is key to the Adopt a Home For Wildlife project, so the Trust is launching a Biodiversity and Ecology Survey to better understand how we can all live well, whilst protecting Montserrat’s wildlife. The survey will commence on 14 September 2022 and end on 28 September 2022.

The Montserrat National Trust Goes Solar

On Wednesday, 14 September 2022 at 5pm, the Montserrat National Trust will launch its new solar/irrigation system – one of the island’s first directly sourced renewable utilities projects. The system will produce 90% of the Trust’s power needs, by providing electrical power to the Oriole Gift Shop, the main office building, the conference/events hall, the security lights and pump water around the Botanic Garden.
