ADOPT A HOME FOR WILDLIFE

PROJECT: ADOPT A HOME FOR WILDLIFE

Some areas, which are so important to our way of life, are under  threat because of the actions of a few: for example dumping rubbish,  which stop the flow of the streams after heavy rains and attracts  flies and mosquitoes. Those damages also affect the natural Fauna and  Flora of those site.
In Collaboration with the UKOTCF (link),and the Darwin Plus fund, the  Montserrat National Trust is launching a project to allow individuals,  organizations, community groups or businesses to agree to maintain a  specific space for a year at a time. The program give you the  opportunity to make a difference in your local area.
The Trust will work with the Department of Environment to make your  project kown and approved and can supply information and some material  (visibility jackets, trash bags, native plants…).

If you want to be part of that program and to “adopt” an area in  your neighborhood to make it a better place, please contact the  Montserrat National Trust. Any help is welcome!
